February 13th 2020, Malaga (ES) – SUSTAIN IT – Sustainable Tourism Innovative Training – is a project co-funded by Erasmus+ which involves a consortium made up of 8 Partners from 6 European Countries i.e. Belgium, Cyprus, Italy, Iceland, Ireland and Spain. IWS participated in its third meeting, hosted by Spanish Partner IWS.
The sustainable tourism’s field needs to strengthen its growth and competitiveness by enhancing European professionals’ skills and competencies in order to fully support employability in the UE. In doing so, SUSTAIN IT features an innovative and actionable training available in 5 languages deliverable via traditional means (face-2-face) and via Open Educational Resource (OER).
During the meeting, Partners took stock of the current status of the above-mentioned Platform and an overview of the Training and Tools contained in it. Dissemination and multiplier events, necessary for the visibility and mainstreaming of the project, and administrative issues were also addressed.
IHF brings in SUSTAIN IT its expertise and experience as a key social player in international and European projects. In particular, IHF ensures the “European Dimension” of the project as it carries out all the technical tasks from a “European Perspective”, i.e. carrying out analyses of relevant EU policies, trends and initiatives; extrapolating EU relevant case studies, lessons learned and best-practices.
