DIGIMUSE ENTER publishes Work Package 2 results: Practical tools for small museums and cultural organisations
The Erasmus+ project DIGIMUSE ENTER – Digital Tools for the Inclusive Accessibility to Cultural Heritage is pleased to announce the publication of the results of Work Package 2 (WP2), now available online at https://digimuse.eu/mapping.php.
DIGIMUSE ENTER supports small museums and cultural organisations in their digital transformation, with a special focus on inclusion and accessibility. Building on the success of the earlier DIGIMUSE initiative, the project is creating practical resources for cultural operators with limited budgets who nonetheless want to innovate and engage wider audiences.
The WP2 results include a Collection of Best Practices showcasing digital solutions and initiatives already applied by museums and cultural organisations across Europe. The best practices are available both in PDF format and for online consultation.
An Analytical Matrix accompanies the collection, helping practitioners identify low-cost solutions to replicate similar initiatives even with limited budgets. Each practice is evaluated in terms of financial effort, human and technical resources, competences required, accessibility and inclusion potential, and replicability, offering practitioners a clear path to choose the options that best fit their context.
In parallel, partners concluded Co-creation Labs with cultural operators across Europe to gather fresh insights on the sector’s needs. Sessions explored: current and desired inclusive practices; barriers and gaps; digital tools and staff skills; uses of AI; strategic planning; resource allocation; EU funding opportunities; and training preferences. These discussions help prioritise the skills and topics addressed in the upcoming DIGIMUSE ENTER training.
