DREAM Project Concludes with Final Meeting in Málaga

Málaga, Spain – 15 October 2024: The DREAM project, an ambitious initiative designed to tackle the challenges of COVID-19 and digitalization in the two worlds of VET and SMEs across Europe, officially concluded with a closing meeting held on 15 October 2024 in Málaga, Spain. Representatives from all project partners gathered to review the project’s achievements, reflect on the lessons learned, and discuss the future impact of the project’s outcomes on digital education and innovation.

The meeting marked the culmination of a multi-year collaboration between educational institutions, technology companies, and research organizations from across Europe. Together, these partners worked towards the project’s mission to advance digital competencies and resilience and foster innovation in learning environments through cutting-edge digital tools and methodologies.

Celebrating the Achievements of the Digital Dream Lab

During the final meeting, the partners reviewed the key milestones of the project, including the successful development and implementation of the project platform, Digital DREAM Lab, aimed at enhancing educational experiences for students and educators. One of the highlights of the project was the creation of a user-friendly platform for interactive, immersive learning experiences. The DREAM training, designed with both educators and learners in mind, have been piloted in several settings, with positive feedback and promising results.

The project also produced valuable research on the future of digital learning and the importance of fostering digital literacy skills across all levels of education. The results were disseminated through different means, ensuring that the insights gained from the DREAM project will have a lasting impact on education policy and practice across Europe.

The project has also established a foundation for long-term collaborations between educators, technology developers, and policymakers aimed at driving innovation in digital education.

Final Deliverables and Future Impact

In addition to the training and research outputs, the project produced the Policy Paper, a comprehensive set of lessons learned for policy makers and guidelines for future training in VET ecosystem, aimed at integrating digital innovation into mainstream education systems.
