Improving Chances for Professional Success in Digital Entrepreneurship – IHF asbl joined the 3rd Transnational Virtual Meeting of DEEP

15 February 2021

The implementation of DEEP (Digital Entrepreneurship for Employability Paths) goes on smoothly. Despite being unable to travel, the partners met online for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting, originally planned in Malaga, Spain.

During the virtual meeting, the partners shared their experiences on different strategies adopted in promoting the main result of the Intellectual Output 2 : “Baseline Report: Digital Entrepreneurship dynamics” (available at https://project-deep.eu/pdf/DEEP_IO2_final_revised.pdf) The meeting was also an opportunity to organise financial reporting and management activities. Furthermore, the IT partner Internet Web Solutions showcased the last updates concerning the development of the DEEP Platform (https://project-deep.eu/): very soon all the training contents will be available online in six languages.

Despite the pandemic and the inability in reaching interested people offline, the partners were proactive in online dissemination and promotion of DEEP preliminary results, with a great effort on social media and online events. In the following months, each partner will organise Online Conferences, Webinars and online events to present and exploit the definitive results of DEEP.

In the Project, IHF asbl brings its expertise and experience as a key social player in international and European projects. In particular, IHF asbl ensures the “European Dimension” of the Project as it carries out all the technical tasks from a “European Perspective”, i.e. carrying out analysis of relevant EU policies and initiatives; extrapolating EU relevant case studies, lessons learned and best practices.

DEEP is a Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission involving seven Partners from six countries (Poland, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Bulgaria). The DEEP main aim is to improve professional success chances of VET students with different backgrounds by developing not only their entrepreneurship skills (or knowledge), but also their digital skills. The project provides VET teachers/trainers/mentors with the necessary tools and knowledge to help their students effectively acquire those skills. DEEP proposes an integrated approach, possible through the cooperation of partners active in multiple sectors.
