DEVELOPING SPORT ADMINISTRATION COMPETENCES – THE ADMINS PROJECT IS CURRENTLY UNDER IMPLEMENTATION

Despite the restrictive measures related to the COVID pandemic, the ADMINS consortium continues its project activities. In particular, the partners will focus on mapping the necessary administrative skills in order to develop a training programme to acquire knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • sport management
  • marketing activities
  • event organisation
  • sports law
  • office management
  • EU project writing, correspondence and communication

The partners already produced a questionnaire to be submitted to sports organisations and sports administrators. The mapping activity will allow to collect useful information to build tailor-made educational modules.

ADMINS aims at addressing the need of fostering the job-related skills and competences of sports administration employees in order to strengthen the capacities of sports organisations and contribute to better governance in sports.

In ADMINS, IHF will contribute with its expertise to the dissemination and valorisation, building on its proven track record of designing and implementing dissemination and visibility campaigns at EU level.

IHF asbl is an NGO active in Brussels since 2003 carrying out awareness and training on the various facets of European Integration.

ADMINS is a project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission and is implemented by a partnership of six organisations from Belgium, Croatia, Italy, Spain and Sweden.
