A CALL TO SELF-EMPLOYABILITY: IHF in Pescara for the 2nd Meeting of SOLOPRENEUR, An Erasmus+ Project – May 30, 2019

On May 30th, 2019, IHF joined the 2nd meeting of SOLOPRENEUR in Pescara, a Project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission that involves 8 Partners from 6 Countries – Belgium, Cyprus, France, Iceland, Italy, Spain.
SOLOPRENEUR is devoted to job seekers from parts of Europe whose remoteness exacerbates the issue of underemployment and to those who want to start their own business fostering their access to the EU job market.
SOLOPRENEUR’s specific objectives are to support the acquisition of skills and tools to enhance self-employability. During the meeting, Partners provided information related to the SOLOPRENEUR platform and the current situation of self-employment in each Partner’s country. Then the SOLOPRENEUR Toolkit’s structure and content was presented and will be available in 6 languages. Also dissemination aspects were addressed to better enhance the visibility of the project.
IHF’s role in such project is to encourage and enhance dissemination and valorisation and has been doing so since 2003, featuring an ever increasing prominent position in the field of EU projects.
