DataPRO is led by the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce of Greece and is implemented by a Consortium of 10 partners from 4 European countries (Greece, Belgium, Cyprus and Germany) that will:
– define the Joint Occupational Profile for Data Protection Officers (DPO)
– develop the DPO VET Curriculum, complemented by Data Protection and GDPR Learning Resources
– build a dedicated online web platform for “Data Protection Employees”
– create a new Certification Scheme with Quality Assurance and Licencing of DPO VET Curricula
The Consortium launched the project and defined the timeline of activities and agreed upon the key milestones for implementation of this innovative approach towards the profiling of the Data Protection Officer, an occupation that is expected to generate more than 20.000 new jobs in the near future thanks to the recent General Data Protection Regulation.

IHF asbl, a non-profit organisation established in Brussels (Belgium) in 2003, will undertake the necessary Actions for introducing project findings to Stakeholders in Brussels, with a special focus on GDPR related Institutions. IHF will be main key actor in dissemination and exploitations of project results.
