Economic and Social Sustainability in Europe: IHF Joins The Closing Meeting of AXESS in Svaty Yur, Slovakia – September 25, 2019

On September 25th, 2019, IHF met with the other 8 partners from 7 Countries (Belgium, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia and Spain) in Bratislava (Slovakia) for the closing meeting of AXESS –  Acquisition of Key Competences for Economic and Social Sustainability.

AXESS is a European Project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 2, which aims at developing and validating innovative trainings to improve digital competences of low-skilled European adults, particularly focusing on adult women.

The project developed 10 Training modules and 49 Training Fiches in 7 languages (English, Greek, Italian, Macedonian, Romanian, Slovakian and Spanish) published on the AXESS OER Platform on www.axesslearning.eu/.

During the meeting, partners discussed the IO1 OER Platform and its current status, then Dissemination results were shown and commented as suggestions were proposed to improve specific sections before the end of the project. Each representative touched upon future multiplier events for further widen the AXESS Project’s audience and how to promote the impact of the OER Platform after the project’s lifetime. Administrative aspects and reporting were addressed, along with the Quality Assurance section, meant to improve the overall conditions of the meetings.

In the AXESS project, IHF carried out analyses of the situation in the domain of digital skills for adult women in Europe and coordinates Dissemination and Visibility actions.
